Honda India has launched the 2012 model of its popular and best selling car 'City' in India. It features all new front-grille, new front bumper, new rear bumper, new design for the alloy wheels and all-new tail lights. Honda City is facing strong competition with the launch of New Ford Fiesta, New Hyundai Verna, Nissan Sunny and Volkswagen Vento, but with the recent price-cut the sales of Honda City is back on track with around 6000 units a month and it is expected that 2012 model will further help in boosting overall sales of Honda City. With the launch of 2012 Honda City, the company has introduced basic variant which has been christened as 'Corporate Edition' and it has been priced very competitively at Rs. 6.99 lakhs only. Honda has removed music system, front+rear speakers, mud guards from the 'E' variant and it becomes the 'Corporate' variant.
